Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Communication: Liaison between service and used car departments.
• Service Coordination: Schedule appointments, assign work to technicians, and ensure repairs or maintenance are completed efficiently and on time.
• Internal Workflow Management: Handle internal service requests, such as prepping vehicles for sale, servicing loaner cars, or addressing warranty claims.
• Documentation: Process repair orders, maintain accurate records of services performed, and ensure proper billing or warranty documentation.
• Customer Follow-Up: Update customers on the status of their vehicle and ensure satisfaction with the service provided.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, parts departments, and other staff to streamline service operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle systems and repairs to explain services to customers effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple service orders, prioritize tasks, and maintain schedules.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with dealership or manufacturer protocols.
• Sales Acumen: Ability to recommend additional services or products tactfully to meet customer needs and dealership goals.
