What You'll Do
As a Volvo Cars of Hagerstown Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers safely on the road by:
Performing accurate vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
Identifying maintenance and repair needs efficiently
Communicating findings and repair recommendations to service advisors
Providing labor estimates and documenting repair procedures
Collaborating with the shop foreman and service team to maximize productivity
Monitoring repair progress and updating status as needed
Maintaining high standards for vehicle care and workplace safety
Assisting with the development and mentoring of apprentice technicians
Participating in factory training programs and staying current on technical bulletins
Following all state, federal, and local regulations and safety requirements
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
Valid Driver's License
State Inspection License (preferred or required based on location)
Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
Solid work ethic and commitment to quality repairs
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desire to continually learn and develop technical skills
